Nominations for Ash Sharqiyyah North Community & Volunteer Award
Registration is now open for the Ash Sharqiyyah North Award for Community Contribution and Volunteer Work, an initiative designed to encourage community-driven projects, strengthen social engagement, and promote a spirit of constructive competition across the governorate.
To register, interested applicants must complete the form available on the Ash Sharqiyyah North Governorate website. The registration process requires selecting the type of submission—whether as an individual, a group, or an entity—and providing personal details such as full name, phone number, governorate, wilayat, and email address. Participants must also upload the required documents to meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligible applicants include Omani individuals who are actively engaged in community contribution and volunteer work. In addition, voluntary civil institutions such as registered and accredited organizations focused on volunteerism, sports teams, civil committees, and associations are also invited to participate.
Submissions will be assessed using two dedicated evaluation forms—one for individual initiatives and another for volunteer team initiatives. The evaluation system assigns 100 points across different criteria, which participants can review in the "Competition Details" document available on the website.
The award seeks to recognize and honor the contributions of individuals and institutions, fostering a culture of volunteerism with a lasting impact. By encouraging initiatives that promote sustainable community development, the award plays a role in building a cohesive society rooted in national values. Additionally, the electronic submission process ensures transparency and credibility, allowing for fair and efficient participation.
